Spring 2024 Welcome Packet

Dear Skunk Rock Families,

Happy New Year and thank you for signing up for spring of 2024 – our 8th consecutive session!

As I’m sitting here at my desk, watching the snow fall and working on lesson plans I feel so thankful for each and everyone of you and your adorable, smart and creative children. They bring me so much joy. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Last sessions performance was a great accomplishment for the program and for the kiddos. I can’t wait for Skunkapalooza 2024. We’re excited to be having it at Tranzend Studio.

Check out this video of our last performance!

We do still have a few spots left so if you kiddos have any friends who want to check it out they can come for a free trial class! (It’s always more fun to play music with your friends!)

Thanks so much we look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

Val

Payment link and registration fee

**If you haven’t already, please pay the $40 registration fee before the session starts HERE. This fee is per child not household and helps to cover snacks and initial supplies. Also, PLEASE NOTE that the card you use to pay this fee will be charged the weekly fee of $36. If you’d like to use a different card or a different payment method please let Val know.

Location and map

Rehearsals are located at 1616 N. Prairie Way 86004. The driveway is REALLY steep so park in the cul-de-sac and walk up. Come to the front door and if you haven’t been here before come in for a tour of the studio! (Also, please note not to park in front of trash cans, mailboxes or driveways. Thank you!)

Drop off and pick up

Drop off is at 4pm. Once you and your skunker are comfortable with it you can just drop them off at the bottom of the driveway and they can walk up. The front door will be open.

Pickup is at 6pm. We do a free jam at the end of each session. So come on up if you’d like to check it out. Or if you’d rather not come up the hill, that’s fine too. We’ll have all the Skunkers ready to go at 6:00 and will bring them down the hill for pickup.

Holidays

Skunk Rock will be doing an online version of practice on week #5 and week #10 of the program! We will have more information regarding this soon!

Snow days

In the case of excessive snow days we may have to extend the program end date and will keep you posted if that occurs.

Billing

  • All payments are automatically processed using the card set up for the registration fee. (If you’d like to use a different card or a different payment method please let Val know.)
  • Billing occurs once a week, on Thursday mornings. (If you’d like your card to be charged on another day please let Val know.)
  • The weekly charge for one student is $36 + a 2.9% processing fee + 0.33 Stripe fee, making the total $37.38
  • The first payment will be on January 11th and the last will be on May 17th.

Attendance policy

If your skunker misses a practice you will still be billed the $37.38; however, your skunker can makeup a missed practice any other day of that week or the following weeks as many times as they need per week. We can also provide a lesson video for them to view at home.

Interested in a cute hoodie or t-shirt! Order from our merch page HERE.
